What would be the situation if GB decided to withdraw from the EU? I am presuming that the right to reside for EU citizens would be withdrawn - is this correct?

If you are returning from overseas, you have to prove that you have been in employment overseas that paid minimum £18,600 pa for at least the previous 6 months, plus you have to have proof of £16,000...

I've just been to the Dubai based UK Embassy. They don't have any visa department/staff there any more. They told me to call VFS, but I explained that they don't know much more than the common person...

I am hoping that, if we sit it out overseas for a couple years, 'they' will see sense and bring in some caveats for 'genuine cases', people married for X years, people who own property in UK...

I printed of the information last night to try and look through it to get a more comprehensive picture.

Unless I am reading it wrongly, I thought that any income from the no EEA spouse IS taken...

Once you have applied for and obtained the spouses visa, what is the time period which you have, to enter into the UK before the visa lapses?
