Not sure on SA budget but can almost guarantee that WA cannot sponsor for few years without public backsplash, give that the WAPOL is at the moment their own battles for pay increase

I seriously doubt WAPOL will recruit in anytime near future, given that state is pretty broke and already denied extra local officers request. They'd have hard time explaining us tax payers why pay...

Liberals just announced yesterday that should they win power, they'll stick to population per police ratio and will not give an inch to the union.

WAPOL is unlikely to recruit anytime soon given that Western Australia is pretty much broke and us tax payers would raise hell about overseas recruitment given the the unemployment rates in the state...

Provided that you and your fiancée have been living together as defacto for 12 mths, and that she qualifies for PR visa, you would get the same and could apply for the police force.

In current state climate (WA being broke), I wouldn't expect and international drive for a year or two atleast or they'd have us taxpayers to answer to.

They've just done a massive local recruit drive (and are now running a horse recruitment drive :):):) )if the got enough local candidates, unlikely they would do an international one.
