Thanks Alan!! For the last couple of months Ive had to pay tax twice on the UK house!! I rang UK IR several times before leaving and asked if they wanted me to do anything else...they said no. Then...

Thanks for the replies guys. I expect I'll pay it in whichever country demands me to first and then use it as proof to prove to the other country that Ive paid tax.

I still dont really understand...

Yep, its boring but its confusing the hell outa my blonde head!

I rent out my house in the UK, and have done so now for a few years. So I fill in a UK Self Assessment Tax Return every year....
