When it went down to $10 before, the Perth Mint sales room was like a wild west saloon. Blokes walking out with fully laden rucksacks of silver bullion - an amazing sight!

I think the AUD Cinderella run is over, for now. It's taking quite a pounding at the moment as the "risk on" trade comes off so it's more a case of the Aussie weakening rather than the pound...

And the "independent" BoE's mandate is to keep inflation down yet they are keeping interest rates artificially low. It's all going to end in tears.
