Re: Bye bye Liberal Government..... will you ever learn.

Re: Bye bye Liberal Government..... will you ever learn.

Re: Bye bye Liberal Government..... will you ever learn.

Yes, I agree with this. A single state approach is not going to work. I think it would be a good thing to drive investment away from property in general - it's unproductive, and is essentially a dead...

Re: Bye bye Liberal Government..... will you ever learn.

I'm not averse to an investor tax - it seems like a reasonably sensible way to levy on people who will eventually gain from a property investment and the associated tax benefits, but not be an impost...

Re: Bye bye Liberal Government..... will you ever learn.

Australians are incredibly reluctant to move banks though. They will sit and bleat about all the charges, fees etc, but as soon as you suggest moving to a low fee/no fee alternative, they look at you...

Re: Bye bye Liberal Government..... will you ever learn.

I'm not going anywhere near them - Though, I'd quite like a small apartment reasonably close to the city that I could AirBnB - but this is getting trickier and trickier as strata committees start...

Re: Bye bye Liberal Government..... will you ever learn.

Those new builds in Waterloo are crazy - talk of Hong Kong type housing density there in 10 years time. Already Zetland is a soulless sea of high rise Legoland apartments - some of which banks are...
