I don't suppose you've met any Canadians not from Guelph. They think it's hell. They point out that St. George's Square is an open market for drugs and that radiating from there each alley has people...

Ahem. You're five minutes by foot from the Diplomat and from Molly Bloom's. If you wanted to see this you could walk over and see it Thursday through Sunday every week.

How so? I do know a lumberjack who moved here from Europe and then back because, for him, the opportunities were better in CH but surely most lumberjacks are better off in Canada than Europe.

It may have opportunity, depending on what opportunity you seek, certainly there are more positions in the field of lumberjacking in Canada, but life in Toronto offers less access to the outdoors...
