GST is only on new houses. I suppose that, if you bought the B&B as a business with no residential element, you might get into GST but I don't think you'd want to do that.

Depends where you live, doesn't it? PEI may be wonderful but it lacks a major airport so, unless you have a private plane, or make a deal with someone who has, you wouldn't be able to make much use...

There is massive truck traffic between southern Ontario and the east coast, the eastern seaboard of the US and the mid-west. I suppose there are also some lorries in Manitoba when the crops bloom or...
