NZDF pay isn't that great, especially considering the buoyant employment market just now. We've just had our first pay rise for 2 years, which is a mighty 1.5%! There is no equivalent to the AFPRB...

I'm pretty sure the RNZN SH-2Gs are based at Auckland, and maintained by the RNZAF (we have no aircraft engineers in the RNZN). So you could be on those. You might even get to go to sea!
