I disagree, I think we'll see "GFC II: the empire strikes back" in February or March of 2013. fx rate will spike to A$2.20 or $2.30, then head sharply back to $1.50 - $1.70.

Same here. It seems to me that a drop below $10 is now extremely unlikely. But who knows? CBA shares dropped to $22 not long ago in all the panic. If silver prices go below $10 I'll certainly be...

My prediction is a spike to $1.95 or maybe $2.00, between now and xmas. Then a sharp drop back to 1.50.

You certainly can sign up for it, by placing a buy order to trigger at that amount with your friendly FX agent. Very easy. Last time I did it through tranzfers and bought some AUD in late 2008...

I think it is heading the other way.....within 3months I reckon the AUD will have risen approx 10% vs USD and 5% vs GBP.

1 GBP will buy approx AU$1.44
1 AUD will buy US$1.18
