I commuted from Golden Bay (next suburb down from Secret Harbour) to Redcliffe every day for 3 months and it was over an hour each way. I was glad to move up to the hills and reduce my journey time...

Have a look up in the hills around Kalamunda, Lesmurdie, Gooseberry Hill, etc. It's possible to find a 4x2 for under $500k and some good schools around here. Lots of trees and very little colourbond...
