We drove home in the Summer of 2014 and diverted from Bologna to Lido di Jesolo for 3 nights.Bought a Veneto travel card for 30 0dd euro and went to Venice for a day,including all the vaporettos.Next...

Bottom line,the train and then the toll road to Metz is a bit quicker but a lot more expensive with tolls and full price fuel.We go to Dunkirk now because the road we use into Belgium and Luxembourg...

If you do forget,they check at the border and you will be diverted into the vignette line.You can use a credit card also.
