i think she would need eaa visa, can’t come to uk with spain visa under freedom of movement as long as i know if she doesn’t hold one of the EU passports

very stressful indeed. If it helps , it seems some people get a reply within few weeks and some dont

where are you based at ?
was that a reply from visasheffo or UKVI contact centre

contact centre is 24 hours and visa sheffo is 9-5 monday to friday uk time

is it a pointless exercise ?

I have seen posts people receiving their decision after few days of escalating however this has not been consistent for all...

Why does escalation delays matters? Ukvi does give you an option of eacalating on priority passed 30 days without asking for a reason

i appreciate some info on this

My experience so far has been HO sends emails between 9-1 pm and if you don’t get one then chances are you are not going to for...

Does anyone here know hownpassport back service works?now when you apply from us for example, you hand your passport in and they send it to UK i suppose and once dealt with and approved, it is posted...

think it also depends on country you are applying from

I have seen a lot of US and canadian applicant visa decided where as istanbul malasiya etc still pending ....

think they are trying to...

I see people have escalated at the same time as me and have received replies quicker .
i escalated on 6th and other people escalated on 6th seems to have...

That is quite strange

i have re read the letter saying they will email the refusal decison if that happens and no need to submit passport

i suppose they have refusal on their system anyways so...
