Let your wife call or you can email them. I applied from Lagos in March and my visa came out in August. My husband got his MP involved and they issued the visa after 2 weeks of the MP's involvement....

Yes, I received an email demanding to pay the IHS or risk the visa being denied so I just paid. I'm now chasing them for a refund and they said the refund will be in my account soon. It was 800 USD...

wow! That's such a long wait. I applied and did my biometrics on the 21st of March 2018 in Nigeria for a fiance visa. Our wedding is slated for the 1st of september and I thought we would have enough...
