I pulled a UK credit report for them off the internet while I was sat in their office. And then went on to explain it to them. They didn't have a clue.

I tell a lie - I think we did 20% or so. They were willing to go for less as I recall but we upped the deposit to avoid paying mortgage indemnity insurance (or whatever they call it).
