There is no such thing as a stupid question, but the realistic answer is no. There is no viable solution to put 500W of solar panels in the cellar behind the window.

For this climate, I'd strongly recommend a heating pump combined with underfloor heating. There is plenty of free heat in this country, your job is to collect it and direct into the house.

The reason is simple - legislation. Without the Net metering it would take ages to break even. But why there is no Net metering in Portugal is quite a different sort of question.
