It makes it more difficult, yes.

There is the option of moving to somewhere else in the EU and getting in that way, but that has its own set of pro/cons to it.

The NHS is funded from general taxation, so unless someone is either dead, or a hermit living in a commune, as soon as they buy something, they are contributing to the NHS.

EU freedom of movement, you can bring your spouse over to a EU country, free and after x time, 6 or 12 months, can't remember, you can get a family permit, which allows you to move around the EU,...

I was talking about passing on UK citizenship. A Brit passes it on to their kids, unless they were a Brit not born in the Uk. Seems pretty reasonable to limit how many generations you...

If you're a Brit citizen, you're a Brit citizen.

The way you acquire it affects if you can pass it on by default or not.

The EEA permit in essence is there to allow a EU national to bring their none EU spouse to live with them in any EU country, where free movement within the EU allows that person to move to.

You're forgetting Brits who are UK citizens by decent, who can't pass on UK citizenship by default, unless living in the UK.

Not every one will pass on British citizenship though, those who have gotten it through decent themselves won't pass on citizenship unless their kids are born in the UK. Other wise a lot of faff is...

I was talking with regards to mounting a legal case to challenge this.

Heading back to the UK, via the EU, which is viable, would take to long for anyone to get to the UK to challenge this ruling...

I got in touch with my old local MP in Oxford via his contact him link on his website.

Couple weeks later, I received a letter in response saying he'll be looking into this and bringing concerns...
