Reading some of these posts, I see that people often seem to be looking at suburbs out on the the fringes - ie...quite a commute if you are looking at working in or near the city.

Me ...I've had no problems with them ...get as much work as I want, no hassle if I want less - and the pay is great :)

Where do you work?

I'm with Swingshift Agency (psych part of the Australian Nursing Agency) and so travel to lots of hospitals ...though mainly work in the Alfred and the Monash

I'm in Elsternwick, and been here for two fantastic years.

Got here in Jan 05 on a temp visa, which turned into PR in the July.

Elsternwick is a great suburb....2 kms from the sea and...
