Thanks Wolfi and Aquavit…. I have plenty of room for stacking wood for seasoning…. a big barn for logs that will be for a few winters down the line and a lean to on the barn that can be used when the...

Thanks all ! Seems then that I will need to buy in advance and have a rotation system going…. and buy ready seasoned cut logs for the first two winters :blink: !!

So I guess the large crates of cut logs that are seen for sale at the roadsides are unseasoned and would need to be bought early in the year and stored for drying ready to be used the following...
