Small world, I was in that bar a couple of weeks ago! I think a lot of Martos was embalmed in the 30's.

Did you find the free wifi spots in Martos? There's one near me in the square with the police station in the old part of Martos. Forgot the name of the square but if you are uncertain...

I have a Spanish bank account and I live in the UK and just visit my house in Martos a few times a year. Much easier. My euros are worth more now as well! Why not keep the UK one and open a Spanish...

By the way, my rental is from 18th - 23 rd June, 5 days, and I think the total is €34.75 + fuel charge. Of course, this is off season and cheap, prices in high season are very different.
