The new police certificate is to prove there is nothing recent. Showing this and also detailing your previous conviction should be fine

It took a little longer for the embassy to return my passport but I've been to pick it up today and I have got a 5 year visa! Great stuff

Been to the embassy today and recommended for a 5 year visa. Last year I was given my first visa which was 1 year. Hopefully the dhs will agree with the recommendation.

Your visa is in your passport. You will only be without your passport during visa issuance.

Yes, just the passport. The e-mails should say that no other document is required.

My business trip has been cancelled so I am now on my way to send my passport off!
