In the UK pretty much 100% of courses are taught in English. In Germany this isn't the case.

I fully agree, as another German tax payer.

Presumably non-EU students currently have to pay considerable fees today and the courses are only low cost/free to EU students?

Regarding the choice of courses held in English, don't be afraid to just call the Universities that you are considering - the person answering the phone will 99% speak very competent English. I read...
