When I said "poll" I was meaning INZ - checking that the EOI are still in play, and possibly cutting out a lot of draws and then withdrawals. This would give a much more realistic figure.

It might be sensible to poll those who have put in an EOI to see if they are still interested 2 years down the line.

The main question will be the "run rate". 300 a year may take a very long time to clear the outstanding EOIs.

We have more or less given up on waiting to be asked to apply. Something akin to winning a lottery, pools etc. which would be nice but very unlikely.
