Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Congrats! That's cutting it fine for sure, but very good news all the same. Out of interest, did you get taken in for secondary processing on arrival in the US for your first visa? From the looks...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

I'm at the 31-week mark (2nd visa) and heard nothing so probably sensible to plan for a delay.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

No, nothing yet.
At this rate we'll be the longest of those currently shown, and a week later than I would have expected. But a week or two variation from the mean, after 6-7 months of waiting,...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Well done! So the timelines are pretty much as expected. I anticipate mine in 5 days or so then I think. Will update here when it happens.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Mine was 8th of Aug.
Georgey38 above was the 3rd of Aug.
I'll certainly post here as soon as I get an update on my application.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

My last first application took ~25 weeks to process; from a November 2015 interview to receiving my email in April 2016.
I had assumed the process was quicker back then but looking back it really...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

I'll be watching this as my situation is similar to yours (2nd application, 9th August interview).
Expect to hear at the end of Feb or early March given the timeframes posted by others.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Just checked again and realise they've given me a 5 year visa. A bit surprising as it's my first application. But no complaints.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Slight correction on this. Actually issued a 5 year visa. Not sure why as it's my first application but happy with that.

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

I found this a little confusing too. It seems the email is generic, so makes mention of including all kinds of other documentation which isn't necessary.

But according to the folks I spoke to in...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Hi All,

Well, a bit of a surprise - I just received my email (2 actually) from the [email protected] email address (you may want to put that address on a safe-sender list to ensure it...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Brynteg996,

I can't add too much to that other than to say my application still says "Refused" as well, even though I was recommended for a waiver of ineligibility. However I only attended the...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Further to my earlier, I've just entered the 6-8 month waiting list for a non-immigrant visa waiver under grounds of 212 (a)(2)(A)(i)(ii).

As this was somewhat unexpected it has thrown other areas...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Thought I'd wade in with my experience.

Interviewed yesterday morning at London embassy. Process took about 4 hours. The lady interviewing was pleasant and relaxed but dropped the bombshell that...
