I have proof of both names yea but one passport is not valid so it would be issue of my PR would be in old surname 😑

I sent case specific Enquiry about my passport (updated my surname to married one) and after 3 weeks now got email saying they acknowledged and received my document. Nothing else.

i sent my updated passport now twice (one in email and one in enquiry as didnt know how to do it) and had no reply yet at all:./ so annoying

Yes I looked in there and it says that it will say that CIC is processing applications received on X date and link to website but it doesn't show this info on the link

On Cic website it says that spousal timeline for Outland applications is 17 months and sponsor approval 39 days is it working days or days?

I should have sent application with courier, Royal Mail said it al be tracked and taking 5-7 days but sent it on Friday and status haven't changed since sat. I think they lied and it's not tracked...

I just sent off our application today! I hope it will be all ok. I wanted to send it with signed for tracked all way and they have told me that I cant as its PO box and they can send it just tracked...

No, we need it as my partner will be working remotely with his company and this is our only big proof of intent to return to Canada really :fingerscrossed: as wont have any lease or anything before...

Hi again we are married and I am waiting for my passport (leith new surname (waiting already 7 weeks and doesn't look like I will have it for another month or more)

Is it better to apply by filling out PDF and then printing it out with writing by hand n/a where needed or print it out and fill by hand completely?

Does not make sense to me as we cohabited for over 2 years :/

Doesn't matter really as we will live together there too only thing I am worried about is that we cannot go on any trips separate and...

Thanks a lot, it is very confusing for me - read that before on CIC website but unsure if to get unconditional we would need to be married for 2 years at least (applying as spousal of course) or just...
