No separate animal control department. I called the local (non-emergency) number.

I know of at least two occasions when they were called out for a snake in someone's yard.

Don't expect the cops to know the law.

We had a neighbor with 5 small, yappy, aggressive dogs with a tendency to escape and terrorize the neighborhood. Not to mention the constant yapping at all...
