Re: Home and garden projects

Not too loud. Probably same level as a vacuum cleaner.

I wore a paper style mask but there really wasn't a lot of excess spray. We also bought the extension wand which made it easy to do a wall...

Re: Home and garden projects

I bought one of these (https://www.lowes.com/pd/Graco-LTS-17-Electric-Stationary-Airless-Paint-Sprayer/1000007020)to paint a whole house (interior) prior to selling. Went through about 15 gallons of...

Re: Home and garden projects

It is at a level where some people notice, some don't. It's certainly not unpleasant. It's less salty than your own tears, which raises another point: It's much more comfortable to open your eyes in...

Re: Home and garden projects

As Tom says, the salt is barely noticeable. The system uses electrolysis to convert the salt into chlorine alleviating the need to manually add liquid chlorine or use chlorine tablets which cause...

Re: Home and garden projects

You won't regret it. I switched to salt water right after I moved in to this house. Have never had any problems with the water.

Re: Home and garden projects

I installed Pergo in our bedroom last year to replace the carpet. It went down easy and looks good. We also have a 120lb dog who has the same problem. He can no longer get up on the bed as he can't...

Re: Home and garden projects

I hear you. I had a bucket of tablets left over by the PO. I used them for adding CYA until they were gone.

But 0.5ppm chlorine is not enough to properly sanitize your water. It may look clean but...

Re: Home and garden projects

Yes. And several others. The previous owner of my house used a mineral system and chlorine tablets. He admitted to me before we bought that he was constantly fighting algae outbreaks. He had replaced...

Re: Home and garden projects

I lived in central Alabama for 10 years where the ground is also clay. God-awful stuff to dig in. A colleague there drained his vinyl-liner pool and ground water got behind the liner ultimately...

Re: Home and garden projects

Ask your pool guy. He should know what the risks are for your area. It may be a non-issue.

An alternative would be to replace the water using the tarp method...

When our liner was replaced, they had to dig...

Re: Home and garden projects
