For me it defiantly was not the photos as I submitted the same photos as in My COPR paperwork (the last 2 from the set of 4).

No surprise, it's the " we didn't manage to get to your application within the current processing deadline. As we do not want to admit this and wish to hide the true processing time from government...

Do you mean the phone number is a Canadian phone number? I have never heard of the processing Centre refusing to give details just because a person is currently outside of Canada. As far as they are...

1. Yes address changed but as it takes them 10 business days to respond to a change of address and it just so happened they posted it (I have been waiting since Sep 3) in the interim period.

If you gave the agent a Canadian address when you landed then your card should of been processed and you will be in the system. You should be able to call the processing center and enquire as to...

My wife's card did not need signing for.

You need to wait 6 weeks following the 61 days before they will even entertain that something is wrong.

Hi all,

does anyone know a way of checking the status of an initial PR card i.e. whether it has been sent yet?

I got to 61 days and received an email asking for new photos as they were out of...
