Being over 70 we've decided to visit our young ones in Bp via train - taking the car is just too much of a hassle and not much faster.
But we always do a seat reservation - for a car...

Same here - but only the dogs that are brought by their owners to the vet who visits ...
Many dogs never leave the garden where they are chained to a tree though this also forbidden ...

More and more people care for their dogs, have them treated for fleas etc too ...

Yes, Peter, I have to agree re treatments of animals. We got our dog from the gardener who worked for us as a baby and when I later asked about his sisters and the mother I was told that he had them...

I'd call at least some of them "semi feral" - old people are having several cats, not neutered of course, and they can't feed them.
Some people here have a very strange relationship...
