I too have received and email today to send off my passport! It says to send off within 30 days, can I ask does this mean my waiver is valid from today?

Update - 20th may interview and not heard anything yet. Haven't got anything booked so not worried, kind of hoping it comes in January so I can go New York for xmas next year

We're only going for 6 days and my conviction was 8 years ago now and haven't been in any trouble since (actually never been in trouble before until 8 years ago!)

I'm in the same sort of boat going to NYC end of November and the 6 months takes it to October 20th but daren't book a hotel yet! Hope you manage to get yours in time

True, I just thought it might say something like "waiting for approval for waiver" or something along those lines. The way I've read it suggests the whole application has been refused

Can I check the status of the application? I've just checked the ceac website and it just says refused but I've been put forward for a waiver
