Hi everyone, my E3 has been approved and I'm back in the USA! One question: unfortunately my passport expires next year so the visa officer only approved my I94 form until the end of my passport...

Sorry to hear that! I've heard Bridgetown, Barbados is also a good option. I have not had a personal experience there though.

For those who have booked US consulate appointments before, how accurate is the 'processing' time listed on the US department of state website? Sydney is currently 10 working days! Thanks in advance.

Hey all, thanks so much for your responses. I am actually on the J1 at the moment. The lawyer did say it was possible to change the visa while staying the US but that it would take anywhere for 3-6...

Hi Ian. No, I'm living in NYC but just wanted a cheap(-is) and quick place to go to get my E3. I think a trip home to Aus would take too long and be costly in comparison.
