All the above applies to Cyprus. However in reality to live a decent life it is more like €1300-00 a month and of course depends on where and what you do. IE use a lot of A/C and the electric bill...

Cyprus. great weather and the tax situation is BETTER than anywhere else. Just about every Cypriot speaks English. been here since 2004.

Tourists and MALTA. Special deals from the UK. THREE MONTHS in a four star Hotel all inclusive (so sorry to the cafes/restaurants) Flights included-average price £520!! Wahey the pensioners.

This is well known. But good that you decide to publish it. However it really does depend on one attitude to the Maltese. We always seem to get on well with them.
