I don't think its a problem, some Australians here have applied for E3s without ever having been to Australia before. I am also applying for my first E3 in Canada and am expecting no problems.

Alright, I've schedule the appointment. I'm nervous as all hell and will be until May whenever, but its done.

Ah, I was wondering about the seeming pointlessness of having both an LCA and the I-129 for this particular visa. This makes a lot of sense. I you were to apply for the visa in-country with an I-129...
