Guarantee was tbe incorrect word my apologies the exact phrase used was they were not hopeful because of the administration change since my last waiver

Went for my interview in April. Got recommended for a waiver but was told there was no guarantee this time because of the change of administration. Has anyone else been told this at their interview?

Just got email to send passport it said I had been granted a single entry valid for 3 months. I am over the moon. Thank you to everyone for their advice and good luck to everyone still waiting....

Thanks for the words of comfort and I suppose reality. It is just so frustrating being in limbo and not knowing if we as a family should or should not make plans.

What an absolute twit. How can it possibly take over 6 months (26weeks) for some civil servant to make a decision, yes or no.

Now in week 27 totally pd off they can stick their visa. This is not worth the stress. So much for honesty being the best policy.

Can you tell me when you had your interview. I had mine on the 16th of October 25 weeks now and still no word. This process is extremely stressful.

Is anyone waiting on a decision on their waiver and if so how long have you been waiting. I'm at week 22 and beginning to get stressed.
