Thanks....he's only staying there so that we have the earnings (need the dual income!)...I'll just keep my fingers crossed that processing his application is straightforward!

We sought advice on this from a Canadian Immigration lawyer who's advice in the end was to be very careful so not to jeopardize the PR application! Hence why my husband is still in the UK...

Thanks... this is our second marriage for both of us but we have been married for 5 years...let's hope that we still fall into the straightforward category! They've taken the fee, so fingers crossed!

presume that a UKC can only move to Canada for up to 6 months and can't work....after that...back to the UK while waiting for PR paperwork?

I was able to contact the London office and as my son was going to attend school, got the citizenship certificate process 'rushed'...it all came through in about 3 months (took longer than it should...
