I always got my deposits back. All of them. So moving from 100k to 85k is worth it. And of course in the second year you've saved a lot more. It pays to keep an eye on the future and not be consumed...

Well, not quite but close enough. Dubai Marina has seen a 19% decline in rent in the past year, Downtown following at 18%.
