On a loosely related note: has anyone ever successfully taken nespresso capsules or equivalent through airport security or do/would they be stopped?

Got 3 packs of cheese. November bb date. Should be ok in fridge too, instead of freezing?
Saw the sticky toffee pudding and was tempted but exp date was 11 aug iirc and for me it's not food for...

I make an Asian-inspired dressing of which a principal ingredient is TOASTED sesame oil. I usually bring a couple of 250ml bottles (typically around the £1.50 mark in Morrisons or Tesco) back with me...

When I buy celery I end up throwing away the leaves and the small fennel leaves also get the same treatment. Can they be used for anything? Seems such a waste.

It probably is the best country for consistently decent coffee . Have you had coffee in a regular bar in France or Spain? If you want volume just get an Americano double shot, for eg...

Used this cut and it was perfect.
Also used a cheap sangiovese which produced good result.

Can someone advise what is the equivalent of 'braising steak' in Italian (it's for beef bourgignon) ?
