I still don't think it all that advisable to fly so late in pregnancy, for the reasons already discussed, but you have obviously made up your mind to do so.

There is a further option ... he goes out now, and you follow with the baby. Not ideal either but these are the choices you have to make. Of course, you're going as temporary residents so that...

In that case she needs to be registered as a British citizen and the age limit for this is 18! Was her father born in the United Kingdom?

It is unusual for a baby to arrive in flight but it's not something that you want to happen - risk of complications aside, it will be no fun for your child to go through life without a birth...

That is very late in pregnancy ... are you sure it is medically wise to fly (or even permitted)? It is also a very long flight and there are a variety of reasons why you do not want your child to...

If a child is automatically a British citizen, then there will be no "backdated" change to the law. No-one takes citizenship away from those who already have it.
