What country are you applying from? Applying form Russia seems to be on of the worst places.

When we interviewed there was nothing else required but they had already requested additional documents...

In case anyone is interested, we have been told that the passport will be issued 2-3 weeks after interview, then it will be dispatched for collection in Russia.

But KPD, haven't you already said that we would need to withdraw the passport application to apply for the ETD? There is no guarantee that the documents could even be returned in a timely fashion.
