Just to update and close off my previous posts, I received my passport yesterday, exactly seven weeks after sending my old one to Liverpool.

An enormous relief, but hardly of consolation to people...

The Fast Track service has not, I understand, been affected by the staffing issues in regional offices and has always lived up to its name.

The conventional system may or may not be back to normal...
