Re: The Yes No vote

Whenever polyamory is mentioned (ignoring Muslim faith) it's always one man, multiple women.

Re: The Yes No vote

It's always the man with x number of wives used as an example. Does that mean women have more sense? ;)

Re: The Yes No vote

Sadly I don't think it will ever happen. Too many people consider multiple partners to be depraved for some unknown reason and as with the Marriage Equality fiasco believe they have a right to tell...

Re: The Yes No vote

I think this thread was done anyway, rational thought won the day back in November. :D

Re: The Yes No vote

Well done, I couldn't get tickets for the events I wanted. Also applied to volunteer but they didn't want me. I'm going to be trapped at home for a couple of days because of events, the Games are...

Re: The Yes No vote

Absolutely nothing to get over. You had no intention of voting no as soon as you knew the stupid survey was going to happen. It had nothing to do with any perceived intolerance. Why you'd suggest...

Re: The Yes No vote

Only guessing but I imagine most of the anger from the yes side came from friends and relatives rather than the LGBTI folk. Sick to death of their loved ones being treated like shit. I don't know...

Re: The Yes No vote

You're joking right? People who have been abused and victimised for years, find themselves having to ask complete strangers if it's ok for them to be treated equally in every way and they shouldn't...

Re: The Yes No vote

I thought it was just a random number generator thing. I didn't get one.

If that's all it said it's most definitely more harmless and less invasive than Cory Bernardi robocall '“As a parent I am...

Re: The Yes No vote

I don't see how it's going to harm the yes campaign. The No voters were always going to vote no regardless of what they say. People who were going to say yes and then apparently changing their...

Re: The Yes No vote

I would hope anyone, regardless of celebrity, would be up in arms. Homophobia has no place in society and singing about it on a national platform is many shades of wrong. There is nothing wrong...

Re: The Yes No vote

There speaks a happily married man who has never caused or suffered terrible spousal abuse.

I don't understand why you think rules for any marriage need tightening up or whatever. Your...

Re: The Yes No vote

Ignoring the comments about bullying because I can't work out if you're being serious or not and if you are then my head is about to explode and I'm not going there.

This is, imo, written in a...

Re: The Yes No vote

Trouble is the LGBTI folk have been bullied to death over the years. If a child was bullied to such an extent in the playground and he suddenly fought back everyone would praise him for standing up...

Re: The Yes No vote

I disagree. The only reason we are having this stupid debate is because a few years ago a Prime Minister took it upon himself to reword the description of marriage. What is traditional marriage? ...
