11 weeks, and no further on.... e-mail to my MP no reply, e-mail to the consul in Egypt no reply..
complete shambles..

What a disaster!
Today, after more calls and mails, and promised 72 hour callbacks i received an e-mail that they require more documents as proof of residence (despite including my sons school...

I have much the same story or terrible service.
My application was delivered by courier to the Durham office on 23rd March, payment taken on the 28th.
