I think you will find that Dorothy, not2old, Zoe (a friend), were quite confrontational first in their responses. That probably was a contributing factor.

I have some opinions on Canadian work culture, but at least where I hover, racism is not a specific one - i.e. I have seen many ethnicities in many companies - I think it would help to not have...
