Houston may be sprawling, but we still have something like quarter of a million people living with ten miles of us. Or maybe the US defines neighbor as "someone who wants to sell you something"?

I used to assume that before I came to the US, but salt is everywhere in food here, and if you have that much salt in your diet, anything with a healthy amount of salt just tastes bland. I get the...

Yes, that is a problem there, though what I really don't understand is the amount of salt they put on the skins of their baked potato, even after I ask for it "plain".

Maybe that's why our kids...

After yet another round of our kids arguing between Chipotle or Subway (not my choice to even mention it) for lunch on a Saturday, we snapped and told them we were going to Texas Roadhouse instead....
