One thing I've noticed, and maybe it's just my industry, is that Canadians love their titles. I'm surrounded by "senior" this and "senior" that- usually, people who have a couple of years experience...

A few months ago, we have a student from U of Alberta (may have been BC, cant remember now), selling educational books for kids.
Upon hearing my accent, she asked where I was from etc, but then...
