Gazza has sent you a useful link re marriage here. Once you are married, your wife can apply for a 13A visa for you and after 12 months apply to have it made into a 13 permanent visa. Here's a link...

:goodpost: Agree entirely with Mike. Declare bankruptcy to clear the debts. On a tourist visa you CANNOT work here and if caught will be deported. Unless your GF, wife to be, is earning at least...
