Maybe the reader should understand from the context. It is difficult that "studies" (pl) are based on ONE series, unless you are previously talking about ONE specific series.

it is simple: there are 5 vowels: A, E, I, O, U.

Assign one and only one sound to each of them and solve the problem!...

I understand you all, but please consider that most of the times we Italians find an italian word or name used abroad, it is misspelled or mis-pronounced, if different from "pizza" or "gelato". :-)
