They are french, 4000 euros plus install plus about 400 a year for monitoring.

Im not sure its holistic either, doesnt seem to monitor the normal 5-6 parameters. For 10 mins a week and about 50...

Lol, at that price plus subscription, better hope so! Pity it cant manage all the variables but im sure the installers offer a supplemental service if you have issues.

Rainwater and our tapwater has a low ph, you can also lower ph usung di/trichlor.

Here, our climate is thermostable. The pool sits at 78-84 degrees year round and is never winterised.

You can test in 3 ways.

Test strips are cheap but useless fullstop
Liquid reagents are accurate-ish but a hassle
Tablet reagents and a digital colorimeter are over time [expensive device to buy...
