At least with our first world passports we have way more visa free countries and we are allowed dual nationality.

Wow...... Seems like a long road for the UK gov to sorting this passport bollocks. IMO its ridiculous for a first world country to have this much chaos over passports.

Oh oops :o

For some reason I was under the impression that you were triple US/Canadian/UK.

I guess that was possible as like JAJ said Canada doesn't require return tickets.

I mostly agree here - but sometimes airline employees don't necessarily know the regulations of foreign countries. And by airline employees I mean the people who are at the desks issuing boarding...

Its possible, but my advice is to apply for an Irish passport whilst in the US and use that to get to the UK. It will arrive much faster than your UK passport at the moment, and you won't have...

They say they need the actual passport - nobody on here actually sends it in. Send a colour photocopy of ALL pages in the passport, including the front and back cover, along with a covering letter...

Why he was asked to take a citizenship ceremony at all is my question - mum was born in Scotland, so he should have been British by descent no problem, correct? No ceremony needed.
