Well, if she is deported/banned from the UK could she still get a spouse visa? My hunch says that it may make it a bit more difficult. I think if she uses the EEA treaties she may have better luck...

Well, in terms of "papers" EDIT: never mind, your kids are there illegally too since they most likely aren't British citizens. But if you were to obtain legal status in the UK you could get them...
