I’ve never actually completed a self assessment, although I plan on helping my my wife’s sister through one in October. I use a program called Taxcalc, cost about £31, to validate our tax...

If your income streams are fairly straight forward then I would try doing them yourself. I help my son each year file his IRS return using TurboTax and he doesn’t need to do an HMRC return as he has...
